WE TYPICALLY HAVE 75 CHILDREN EVERY SCHOOL DAY FOR 3 HOURS AFTERSCHOOL. THE CHILDREN'S AGES ARE 7 THROUGH 11 OR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGES. DUE TO COVID CONCERNS, MUCH OF 2020 WAS OPERATED AS A REMOTE LEARNING CENTER FOR THE CHILDREN WITH ALL DAY LEARNING RATHER THAN AFTERSCHOOL LEARNING. THIS WAS DONE FROM OUR LEARNING CENTER.

FOR THE LAST THREE QUARTERS OF 2020, THESE PROGRAMS WERE SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID CONCERNS.

WE HAVE ADDRESSED THE HIGH CRIME RATE AND DRUG STATISTICS BY FORMING NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH GROUPS AND WORKING WITH CRIME STOPPERS AND THE TULSA POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR TRAINING AND SUPPORT. IN ADDITION, WE CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE TO BRING NEEDED BUSINESSES AND SERVICES TO THE AREA, INCLUDING WORKING WITH GROCERS TO PUT A GROCERY STORE IN THE AREA, WHICH IS A QUALIFIED "FOOD DESERT".
