THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A CONTINUOUS AND BONA FIDE PROGRAM FOR SOLICITATION OF FUNDS FROM THE PUBLIC, COMMUNITY, AND MEMBERSHIP GROUPS INVOLVED. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A WEBSITE THAT ATTRACTS DONORS, UNDERTAKES AN ANNUAL FUNDRAISING DRIVE, AND HAS RECENTLY HIRED A FULL-TIME EXECUTIVE COORDINATOR TO HELP BROADEN THE FUNDRAISING BASE. IN 2019 AND 2021 WE HOSTED A GATHERING FOR POTENTIAL FUNDRAISERS, WHICH THE ORGANIZATION PLANS TO HOLD ON AN ANNUAL BASIS GOING FORWARD. WE WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY THAT THE INCREASE IN PRIVATE FOUNDATION SUPPORT IN 2024, SPECIFICALLY FROM SURDNA, POP CULTURE, AND FORD, WAS PRIMARILY DIRECTED TOWARD FISCALLY SPONSORED PROJECTS THAT ALIGN WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION AND BENEFIT OTHER MISSION-DRIVEN EFFORTS, WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO THE SUPPORT FROM PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ANTICIPATES THIS SUPPORT TO DECREASE IN THE COMING YEAR, WHILE THE PUBLIC SUPPORT IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE ABOVE 33%."III) PERCENTAGE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT: UNDER THE REGULATIONS, THE HIGHER THE PERCENTAGE OF SUPPORT ABOVE THE 10% REQUIREMENT FROM PUBLIC SOURCES, THE LESSER WILL BE THE BURDEN OF ESTABLISHING THE PUBLICLY SUPPORTED NATURE OF THE ORGANIZATION THROUGH OTHER FACTORS. V) REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNING BODY: THE ORGANIZATION HAS A GOVERNING BODY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE BROAD INTERESTS OF THE PUBLIC. THE GOVERNING BODY ALSO CONSISTS OF MEDIA EXECUTIVES, ARTISTS, FILMMAKERS, ACADEMICS, AND NONPROFIT PROFESSIONALS WHO HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OPEN TELEVISIONS AREAS OF WORK.
