“The covid-19 pandemic slowed our organization's fundraising effors, but did not slow us down with regards to our initiatives. In 2020 fight or die has instructed over 80 members of the veteran community in mental health first aid and is on schedule to teach approximately 240 more students by the end of 2021. Additional fight or dies was able to build five scholarships to students of higher education with a focus on clinical mental health professions. Those scholarships will be awarded by the end of march 2021. Our organization will continue to brin awareness to veteran suicide, veteran post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries (tbi) through ocean sports. It will continue growing intelligently and seek to partner with organizations that work for our veteran community. Fight oar die will continue to expand its outreach to other veterans who want the adventure of ocean racing, rowing, and coastal rowing.”
