“P.a mission statement porn anonymous (pa) is a recovery program based on the twelve steps and twelve traditions of alcoholics anonymous (aa). Pa is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from porn addiction. The only requirement for pa membership is a desire to stop using external stimulation for lust (such as porn, erotic literature or phone sex). There are no dues or fees for pa membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. Pa is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other porn addicts achieve sobriety. The pa fellowship is made up of live meetings worldwide, as well as phone meetings in different time-zones. Due to the fact that the drug of porn is accessed mainly online today, pa aims to maintain a robust online presence as well. The pa online presence aims to have websites in multiple languages. These websites will offer listings of meeting locations worldwide, daily newsletters, webinars, articles and videos about the 12-step program, as well as a vibrant community of members who share experience, strength and hope through the forums and chat rooms of pa.”
