Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The specific and primary purpose of the Foundation shall be to provide financial assistance to firefighters and members of the community in preparing for, responding to and recovering from all manner of emergencies, provide financial assistance and support to firefighter families at the time of a firefighter death, to support the development and deployment of public safety behavioral health programs, and to assist in the education of the public on matters of community preparedness as well as make donations to other designated IRS Code section 50l(c)(3) entities with the same or similar purposes. Further, the Foundation shall provide financial aid in the form of scholarships to individuals interested in a career in firefighting and firefighters for career development.
