“The conflict-of-interest policy applies to far star action fund's directors, officers, members of any committee of the corporation's board of directors, and any employees designated by the president. Each covered person shall promptly and fully disclose all material facts of every actual or potential conflict of interest and must complete an annual questionnaire. All disclosures shall be made to the president, who will reveal the conflicts of the board of directors. The board of directors will evaluate the disclosers to determine whether they involve an actual conflict of interest. They may attempt to develop alternatives to remove conflict from the situation. Any covered person with a real conflict or potential conflict of interest shall recuse himself/herself from voting on any transaction or arrangement and shall not be present when any such vote is taken.”

“Far star action fund targets the public by providing good information to make good decisions. Using carefully chosen award-winning documentary films, the fund develops tools to help filmmakers and activist organizations inform the public and influence policy. This supports educational outreach and advocacy efforts to improve the environment, programs of social justice, and steam education, which leads to preserving democracy. Grants are made to those organizations that collaborate and develop programming with us. An example of the tools is educational and community guides, web information imparting accurate information, and grants. Our 501(c)(4) status provides for us to influence good governance for democracy. My sister liv: my sister liv is a documentary film that begins a conversation about youth mental health. This film assists mental health professionals in sharing thoughtful commentary with youth and parents- to begin the dialog of the potential threat of suicide. Gifford: partnering with the non-profit gifforgs.org, we use the documentary film to educate the public on the importance of gun safety and violence. Greener pastures: partnering with the documentary film greener pastures, we educate the government, private organizations, and the public on the plight of the small independent farmers of america.”
