Here is a snapshot of just some of the amazing happenings and events: In JANUARY we...Connected with our local Homeland agents to secure partnership and protocol. Accepted our grant funding from Believe in Me foundation for 2023.Strengthened our relationships with several at-risk youth non-profits in Kona, Hawaii to help train a local group to work together in anti-trafficking.Connected with Innovations Human Trafficking Collaborative to connect services across the state and much more. In FEBRUARY we...Facilitated relocation of a client from out of state and placement into one of our host homes to begin a new life with a community provided by us! Educated a womens group in Priest River, Idaho on fighting sex-trafficking in their community. Interviewed with a local radio show explaining the current resources in the PNW. Advocates attended a synergy conference. Presented to a Spokane Teachers group. Collaborated with leaders from Lutheran Community Services anti-trafficking resources.In MARCH wePresented to a youth group in Spokane, WA. Met with a survivor who is starting their own business and wanting to give back through an art fund raiser. Spoke at a Nazarene Church in Spokane. Completed a presentation with the Providence administration for further grant opportunities. Celebrated a survivor who is a minor in our care that is excelling in school and activities. Presented at youth group in Priest River area. Trained at-risk youth support team If You Could Save Just one in Spokane.In APRIL weContinued working with clients referred to us by the FBI task force. Accepted several new clients referred to us by CRC youth center, all receiving personalized advocate support and safety case management. Presented at Jr. League of Women in Spokane and much more.In MAY weHelped coordinate services with clients working with Rescue America and our placement network through National Trafficking Shelter Alliance. Continued planning fund raisers with local business supporters like Pacific Mortgage Company and Traci Bemis Realty. Donated extra clothing to Teen Closet. Trained the local Volunteers of America staff who work with vulnerable youth. Operated 2 emergency cross-state relocations to get survivors to long-term safety. In JUNE weCelebrated the one-year anniversary of a client in her new housing. Participated in the Freedom Fair fund raiser in Reardon, WA. Presented to 5th graders at Northwest Christian School. Training at Transitions organization for women. Connected with 3 new survivors who called our resource line, immediately met by a compassionate advocate to explain our services. Were named recipients for Life Center Church's coffee time fund raiser for Q4. Relocated a mother and her 3 children to safety, guiding her through the entire transportation process and ensuring she is empowered and confident when she arrives at her destination. In JULY weSupported a homeless SPS youth placed in a Jonah Project host home, guiding the hosts and supporting needs of the youth. Spread awareness on social media to support World Day Against Trafficking in Persons by sharing info through the US DEPT of Homeland Security BLUE CAMPAIGN. Shared on-line safety tips for families through Shared Hope.org and more.In AUGUST weCelebrated a minor client's 2-year anniversary since being recovered and relocated through the direction of our team. Attended a fund raising luncheon for local nonprofits. Facilitated the showing of the movie Sound of Freedom at Northtown Mall . Trained and collaborated with Mujeres in Action group. Reviewed our partnership with New Horizons Church. Meeting with Safe Harbor group in CDA to introduce them to our services and encourage their growth and partnership and more.In SEPTEMBER weEnjoyed our yearly celebration with volunteers, advocates and the Board of Directors. Continued our fund raiser with Chrysallis Art gallery for our Jonah Project sweatshirts and T-shirts. Accomplished a training in the community and for providers at Spokane's Crisis Response Center for youth. Connected with the sexual assault/suicide threat task force from Spokane Police Department. Began work with our new intern from Eastern Washington University's Social Work Program. Helped locate a mother/ wife who had been victimized by traffickers in Western Washington and bring them back together with her family. In OCTOBER weProvided an in person anti-trafficking teaching for Gonzaga Counseling Students. Matched a 17-year-old survivor to an advocate to build a trusting, guiding relationship. Continued serving hot meals weekly at the Young Adult Shelter for Spokane's most vulnerable youth. Made connections with the local Hope House women's shelter and women's hearth with ways to serve and connect resources and much more.In NOVEMBER weWorked with Kootenai County Jail and Public Defenders to advocate for a survivor and transition her to healthy living. Celebrated the monthly support and donations from New Horizon Church in funds, meals and basic supplies for our youth and families in need. Contacted SPS counselors to offer training and support. Networked with organization Even4One to connect services and housing for clients. Celebrated over $5,000 of donations for Giving Tuesday. Attended training at Mujeres in Action for sexual violence advocacy, communication and ethics. In DECEMBER weCelebrated a donation from the Spokane Tribe of Indians. Accepted a donation from Christ Chapel Bible Church. Presented at City of Spokane Valley for funds specific to human trafficking and behavioral health. Continued to deliver groceries to our at-risk families. Began case management for 3 new survivors calling on the Resource Line.-$204,424
