Mission

Re:Store Justice advocates for policies that decarcerate our prisons in California. The organization is guided by those impacted most: incarcerated people, survivors of crime, and their communities. In coalition with partner organizations, Re:Store Justice fights to advance evidence-based and trauma-informed policies rooted in improving public safety, creating healthier communities, and protecting vulnerable people. The organization's mission is to end life and extreme sentences by changing the way society responds to violence & harm.Program services include:Art for Justice - This includes all our digital communications through our website and social media.Restorative Dialogues - This is a program in which the victim/survivor of a crime, or the surviving family members, and the person responsible, meet face-to-face in a safe and secure setting.
