Action Tn

Action tn is dedicated to helping grassroots groups across tennessee expand and coordinate their civic and political engagement efforts in service of building power around our shared values, with a particular focus on empowering underrepresented and disenfranchised communities, from black and brown communities to rural tennesseans.

Actiontn is a voice for the values that made our state great: strong public education, business competitiveness, thriving democracy, protection of our natural resources and rich cultural traditions. We are proud of our legacy as a southern state capable of adapting to change and embracing new opportunities. We are also determined to retain our national status as a great place to work, live and raise a family. To that end, actiontn raises the visibility of issues that affect the quality of life in our state. We monitor the statewide political landscape on your behalf,identifying extreme legislative actions and other policy changes that could affect your life. We tell you about them quickly, let you know what you can do about them and, as a 501(c)(4)political education organization, are active in elections that further our mission. Actiontn was founded to promote public policies that make tn a fairer, healthier, more equitable state and to advocate solutions to critical community problem
