Program service accomplishments the ilg relief fund has provided relief to alleviate human suffering and hardship through emergency support to employees of ilg, llc (and its affiliated companies) and others in communities who have been affected, distressed, displaced, or harmed by hurricane irma or by other natural or civic disasters (such as acts of terrorism, toxic spills, etc.), forces of nature or other unexpected catastrophes or similar events in the future that impact multiple individuals and/or commmunities ("disaster victims"), through (i) the making of grants to satisfy emergency family needs and to meet medical, humanitarian and subsistence expenses that include (but are not limited to) food, water, clothing and housing, (ii) the sponsoring or support of other activities to relieve the distress of, and to encourage the mentoring, counseling and support of, disaster victims who have suffered from the effects of hurricane irma or other natural or civic disasters or catastrophes, including by soliciting and receiving contributions, gifts, grants, devises and bequests, and applying the whole , or any part thereof, in support of such efforts.
