Tenants began moving in during november 2019. The following is a new program service accomplishment: hillside residence is an affordable housing complex offering 34 rental units and 2 transitional care units. Hillside residence is an innovative, health-integrated, elder affordable housing program. In addition to providing affordable housing, hillside residence brings together the health care services offered by mercy life. Situated on the same campus as hillside residence, mercy life, as a program for all-inclusive care for the elderly (pace), offers a range of clinical and social support programs to hillside residents. Together, they offer affordable housing and comprehensive healthcare to serve frail, low-income elders at the risk of institutionalization.

IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING, HILLSIDE RESIDENCE BRINGS TOGETHER THE HEALTH CARE SERVICES OFFERED BY MERCY LIFE. SITUATED ON THE SAME CAMPUS AS HILLSIDE RESIDENCE, MERCY LIFE, AS A PROGRAM FOR ALL-INCLUSIVE CARE FOR THE ELDERLY (PACE), OFFERS A RANGE OF CLINICAL AND SOCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO HILLSIDE RESIDENTS. TOGETHER, THEY OFFER AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE TO SERVE FRAIL, LOW-INCOME ELDERS AT THE RISK OF INSTITUTIONALIZATION.
