We strive to raise dyslexia awareness, empower families to support their children, and improve resources for students with dyslexia in minnesota educational environments. Our mission is to educate, empower and advocate.”

“We held 3 events on how to effectively use the new iep binders and have handed out 100 free binders to parents, tutors and teachers. We held 6 virtual parent talks where we had an educational discussion on the topic of dyslexia and where to find resources to help our children in the school system. We helped 60 parents who attended, approximately 10 parents per event. We held 5 virtual dyslexia simulations that simulated what it is like to have dyslexia in the classroom. We helped 200 educators and 75 parents who attended. We held a 3 part dyslexia teacher training for a school district that showed educators how to change their teaching methods to better meet the needs of all readers. We helped 50 kindergarten - 3rd grade teachers. One part of the training was a dyslexia 101 and helped 70 teachers. Organized a fundraiser at a donor's house for 100 private guests and raised 49,000. Hired a development director to help with fundraising, strategic planning, and event planning. We held 3 other educational webinars about dyslexia helping 150 people who attended. One webinar is online and have had 491 additional people who have watched it. Served ---- people who visit our website and social media pages. We sponsored an audiobook read-a-thon through dreaming dyslexia youth program raising over 400. We sponsored microsoft's decoded 4 part webinar with national speakers to educate people nationwide about dyslexia. We held presentations in the community at rotary clubs, school ptos, and at conferences to educate about dyslexia. We have a website database of 1,455 people, 481 followers on instagram, 312 followers on twitter, 48 followers on linked in, and have 3,602 likes on facebook.”
