“Eco defense group is a 501(c)(3)organization that connects extraordinary capabilities to a dire need. We were founded on the frontlines of the poaching crisis and work in multiple countries with international partners to protect, preserve and ensure a future for africa's most targeted and vulnerable species. We help keep wildlife protectors safe and make them more capable by training them in unique and advanced skills. We analyze the problem, develop a plan and train units on the frontlines of the poaching crisis in never-before-introduced special operations methods specific to counter the threat that they face. In other words, we make the best better. Where we develop security for wildlife, we invest also in communities where poachers are recruited and seek to empower those who live alongside endangered animals. We aim to stop poaching by empowering protectors and communities to have the skills necessary to effectively, efficiently, and safely protect these creatures. We want results, not headlines. We deploy quiet professionals. We make counter-poaching units more capable.”

“Eco defense group operated with high effectiveness in 2020 despite the pandemic-related global shutdown. Under the provision of diplomatic travel, eco defense group teams executed programs in 3 countries and 6 sites and delivered vital goods and equipment to frontline units. In locations a and b, eco defense group develop ranger capabilities and furthered the protection of endangered wildlife. In location c, assessment was performed with initial development of a quick reaction and k9 unit. In location d, a helicopter deployment program for firefighters. In location e, advanced ranger capabilities and equipment were delivered and developed. Finally in location f, a survey was initially conducted of targeted rhino populations and plans laid for protective measures. Eco defense group furthered its mission of developing advanced wildlife protection capabilities among targeted and vulnerable animal populations in southern africa.”
