“Going Beyond the Pinks mission is to empower breast cancer patients and survivors with knowledge and support so they can thrive through treatment into survivorship. 04. Part III, response or note to any other line in Part IIIThe Comprehensive Support Program provided 789 individuals with direct support services (patient navigation), provided 221 individuals with care bags, and paid $2730 in financial assistance for out-of-pocket medical costs related to breast cancer treatment. The Education and Resource Hubs connected 8,514 individuals with the information and resources they need to navigate breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and added a nationwide database of supportive services. Our educational blog reached an additional 100,627 individuals with credible educational content to meet the unique health and wellness needs of breast cancer patients and survivors across the continuum of care from diagnosis, treatment, into survivorship. 04. Part III, response or note to any other line in Part IIIREACH Symposium: Going Beyond the Pink hosted 25 breast cancer survivors for their first annual survivorship symposium. Participants, including newly diagnosed patients and survivors, attended 11 experiential sessions throughout the day, including sessions on nutrition, physical movement, mental health, mindfulness, and more. 04.
