Director of U.S. Operations, or his designee, typically travels to India once per year to meet with leadership of the grantee organization and discuss the status of the various programs which receive grants from the organization. VF-US Leadership visits various sites and projects to ensure said programs are being operated according to the guidance of the governing board of directors. Director of US Operations also conducts weekly calls with leadership of grantees to keep abreast of ongoing activity and to keep up to date on that organization's financials.
