Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Mustard Seed Network was founded to facilitate the establishment of new Christian churches - a process commonly referred to as "church planting" - in order to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world with a specific focus on the nation of Japan. The ministry is currently focused on sending missionaries to and establishing churches in the nation of Japan where the number of Christians is less than 1% of the country's entire population. The ministry accomplished this exempt purpose by engaging in the following activities: missionary recruitment, training and placement, planting churches in Japan, making grants to new and established church plants throughout Japan, raising awareness in U.S. churches and Christians of the spiritual darkness and the need for Christian churches in Japan, and providing administrative support to missionaries and church plants.
