Rondo community land bridge-- more than just a bridge - creating an african american cultural enterprise district connected by a community land bridge. The rondo land bridge project aims to revitalize an african american cultural enterprise district and offers an opportunity to build an inclusive and equity-based local economy that not only restores what was lost but creates a continuous cycle of net-positive economic, social and environmental benefits for the neighborhood and beyond. The restorative development approach championed by reconnectrondo leverages the principles of the circular economy, regenerative urbanism, and smart city technologies to create district wealth and wellbeing, while intentionally creating career paths and living-wage jobs for residents who have been denied access to economic opportunity in the past

Feasibility study www.reconnectrondo.com/resources and community land bridge strategic direction report. 1.past prosperity study, 38-page report: restorative rondo building equity for all - the past prosperity study report, details the intergenerational wealth gap that was caused by i-94 and poor land use and planning that resulted in a loss of at least 157 million by 2018. Report also shows the opportunity to develop rondo as the city's first restorative district and serve as a model that can be replicated through the city and the nation. 2.hia impact assessment 2020 report (74-page report) - rondo land bridge health impact assessment (hia) summary and additional community insights in collaboration with the wilder foundation. The intent of this report is to inform decision-makers as to community concerns and desires and to help set priorities to be addressed in the planning process for a land bridge. 3.in cooperation with the minnesota department of transportation (mndot) and the city of saint paul, reconnectrondo decided to evaluate the potential of a rondo land bridge, to further advance the concept and provide lawmakers information. Goal for the study: neighborhood reconnection, affordable housing, equitable development, public health/green space, community leadership.
