Creating an african american cultural enterprise district reconnect rondo is building a bridge to better by creating an african american cultural enterprise district connected by a community land bridge. The rondo land bridge project aims to revitalize this district and foster an inclusive, equity-based local economy that not only restores what was lost but creates a continuous cycle of economic, social, and environmental benefits for the neighborhood and beyond. Our restorative development approach leverages principles of the circular economy, regenerative urbanism, and smart city technologies to build community wealth and well-being. This work intentionally creates traditional and alternative career paths and living-wage jobs for residents historically denied access to economic opportunity.
