“Fiscal sponsorship for water for flathead's future (wff) and south whitefish neighborhood association. An annual meeting was held. Egan slough community (esc) partnered with wff to sponsor a booth at the 2019 earth day celebration. Esc's focus is on educating the pubic about the importance of preserving water ecosystems in rural landscapes for the benefit of aquatic and terrestrial animal populations. Esc continues the legal involvement in flathead county district court. Pursuing involvement in lawsuit with multiple counts regarding county recognition of rural zoning to preserve the rural landscape and to enforce county wide zoning to protect the rural character of the area. Sent out two newsletters designed to inform and educate the public.”

“Egan slough community brought suit to compel the flathead county commissioners to enforce the egan slough zoning regulations, which was voted on and passed overwhelmingly by the people of flathead county. These regulations would protect rural agricultural area and water of flathead county.”
