“In 2017, uhs hosted two educational series (8 total sessions) for the community, which covered a variety of integrative health-related topics presented by local professionals/practitioners. In addition, the organization hosted a networking reception to further foster relationships with professionals/practitioners and the community. The organization also offered a make and take class, along with a round table discussion event to further educate individuals. Throughout 2017, uhs had approximately 615 registrants in total for all of its events. The organization also heavily focused on educating on and advocating for integrative health care by building its relationships with influencers and organizations within the community, sharing information and research with its followers, and creating a membership program for individuals and practitioners/professionals.”
