Board members are given at least a week to review the document, being asked to pay particular attention to the relationship of the mission to prominent activities, the financial health of the organization, expense categories (particularly the ratio of program expenses to administrative) and disclosure of conflicts of interest. Any questions or concerns related to the document are then addressed at a regular board meeting, and any corrections are relayed to the document's preparer.”
