“None of our board members receive any financial compensation. Our Chief Executive Officer supervises our staff and is in direct, consistent communication with them. All of our staff have designated funds and are directors of their own funds. The Chief Executive Officer co-manages every designaed fund with each staff member and tracks the nonprofit spending decisions of all staff members who receive any financial support from their organization for salary and/or expenses and grants. The Chief Executive Officer sends a monthly financial report to all the board members who supervise our executive team and financial management. If the Chief Executive Officer or any board member feels a conflict of interest may exist, we schedule a special business meeting to discuss the issue and make a decision before moving forward.”
