Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the Code), or the corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax law; provided, however, that none of the Corporations rights and powers shall include the right and power to carry on a business for profit. The specific purposes of the Corporation include, but are not limited to:1. Stimulating interest in aviation by providing an educational opportunity for Nate Abel Flying Club members, to develop their flying abilities;2. Disseminating flying information to the community;3. Bringing together those individuals who have a common interest in flying; and4. Promoting the welfare of Nathan Abel Flying Club in its educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Code, or the corresponding provisions of any subsequent tax law.
