General explanation attachment

Living well kent continues to build and nurture relationships with local co-op leaders who are interested in developing products or produce to sell at the farmers market in current and future years. Most of these new leaders are immigrants and refugees who won the lwk healthy cooking contest and are interested in learning to grow vegetables to sell at the east hill farmers market. Some of these leaders have started gardens at the hillside church to make ethnic dishes to share with their local communities, which successfully provided public spaces and initiatives that encourage healthier lifestyles and better living.
