Mission and Program Overview
Mission
To provide support for schools in select African and US regions
The African Education Support Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 that provides support for schools in the U.S. as well as selected regions of Africa. Simultaneously, we inspire young adults from the US to travel and learn through service and adventure. Our learning program engages expert instructors and chaperones, provides extraordinary access to adventure, and fosters friendship among both people from our group and with people from the country in which we are studying. This combination provides an opportunity for the learning adventure of a lifetime. We believe that diversity is a necessary, dynamic, and integrated component for a thriving education. We are proud of the rich diversity of our society and welcome all students to experience learning in another country with us.

The focus of this program is connecting volunteers age 55+ with U.S. elementary school students in need of math tutoring.
