Our mission at the nest school is to support each individual child in building a foundation for life long learning. We provide a montessori program which supports the emotional, intellectual, physical and social development of the whole child by addressing the uniqueness of each child in a nurturing, emotionally secure and academically excellent envioronment.

THE NEST SCHOOL IS A NEW NONPROFIT MONTESSORI PRESHOOL(TECHNICALLY CLASSIFIED AS AN IN-HOME DAYCARE) THAT WILL OPEN ITS DOORS TO STUDENTS ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2017.THE NEST IS A MIXED AGED SINGLE CLASSROOM WITH TWO FULL TIME TEACHERS. IT OFFERS THREE PROGRAMS: MORNING, AFTERNOON & FULL DAY (WHICH IS EXCULSIVELY RESERVED FOR STUDENTS IN THEIR FINAL YEAR OF PRESCHOOL). THE SCHOOL ALSO PROVIDES SPECIAL WEEKLY ENRICHMENT CLASSES PUT ON BY SPECIALTY TEACHERS: PE AND MUSIC FOR MORNING STUDENTS: YOGA AND ART FOR AFTERNOON STUDENTS. FULL DAY STUDENTS ENJOY ALL FOUR ENRICHMENT CLASSES.DESPITE THE FACT THAT 2017 IS THE SCHOOL'S INCEPTION YEAR, THE SCHOOL WAS FULLY ENROLLED (19 STUDENTS: 5 FULL DAY & 14 HALF DAY) WITH AN ACTIVE WAITLIST BY THE END OF THE 2017 FISCAL YEAR. THE SCHOOL IS ALSO FISCALLY ROBUST THANKS IN PART TO GENEROUS DONATIONS FROM THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY TOTALING $80,000 IN 2017.$5,774-
