To promote responsible use and appropriate development of the historically significant former weyerhaeuser corporate campus in federal way.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

In our efforts to prevent inappropriate development on the campus (eligible for national historic landmark status) we appealed the city's decision to allow warehouse development. We hired an attorney and technical experts to make our case. We later appealed the hearing examiner's decision to king county superior court.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

We continued working with grant funders and forterra, a land conservation nonprofit, on efforts to purchase 54 undeveloped acres along north lake for public use. Only volunteer time was used on this project- all grants received will go through forterra. We are told additional grants will be available when we have a willing seller.

Public outreach and education. We continued to keep the community and broader public apprised of our efforts through our website, social media, e-newsletter, and personal contacts. All efforts were conducted by volunteers (web hosting was an in-kind donation).
