To promote community supported agriculture. By promoting CSA, PACSAC creates: sustainable thriving farm business, vibrant environmentally sound local food systems,healthier communities

The Pacific NW CSA Coalition promotes the growth of Community Supported Agriculture by 1) connecting CSA farmers with their local community, 2) supporting farmers through networking and other programming, 3) educating the public about the benefits of CSA, and 4) assisting people purchase CSA shares with SNAP benefits and Double Up Food Bucks incentives.

“In 2023 we changed the rate at which DUFB were allocated to shares purchased with SNAP. Prior to 2023, full-sized shares qualified for up to $250 of DUFB incentives, half-sized shares qualified for $125 of DUFB incentives, and winter shares qualified for up to $100 of incentives. In 2023 we transitioned to allocating DUFB at 50% of the SNAP spent on fruits and vegetables, for all sizes and seasons.”
