Mission
Our Revolution is dedicated to organizing a progressive political movement powerful enough to make sure our government stands on the side of working people not wealthy few. Together, we are building a nat'l grassroots network of powerful local groups who are fighting to win progressive issue fights, electic progressive champions, transform the Democratic party and get big money out of politics.
Our revolution will reclaim democracy for the working people of our country by harnessing the transformative energy of the "political revolution." through supporting a new generation of progressive leaders, empowering millions to fight for progressive change and elevating the political consciousness. Our revolution will transform american politics to make our political and economic systems once again responsive to the needs of working families.

“Our revolution became aware in early 2017 that funds were stolen from our revolution by an international syndicate of cyber-thieves targeting non- profit organizations globally. Specifically, our revolution was the victim of a business e-mail compromise scam that took place in december 2016 but was not discovered until january 2017, resulting in the loss of approximately 242,000 via an electronic transfer of funds to an overseas account. Our revolution worked with the federal bureau of investigation, our revolution's counsel and an independent cyber-security consultant in an effort to identify the thieves and to recover the funds but, unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful. Following this incident, working with the independent cyber-security consultant, our revolution continues to put into place additional safeguards, including both technical and human security measures, procedures and protocols.”

SPECIFICALLY, OUR REVOLUTION WAS THE VICTIM OF A BUSINESS E-MAIL COMPROMISE SCAM THAT TOOK PLACE IN DECEMBER 2016 BUT WAS NOT DISCOVERED UNTIL JANUARY 2017, RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF APPROXIMATELY 242,000 VIA AN ELECTRONIC TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO AN OVERSEAS ACCOUNT. OUR REVOLUTION WORKED WITH THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, OUR REVOLUTION'S COUNSEL AND AN INDEPENDENT CYBER-SECURITY CONSULTANT IN AN EFFORT TO IDENTIFY THE THIEVES AND TO RECOVER THE FUNDS BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, THESE EFFORTS WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. FOLLOWING THIS INCIDENT, WORKING WITH THE INDEPENDENT CYBER-SECURITY CONSULTANT, OUR REVOLUTION CONTINUES TO PUT INTO PLACE ADDITIONAL SAFEGUARDS, INCLUDING BOTH TECHNICAL AND HUMAN SECURITY MEASURES, PROCEDURES AND PROTOCOLS. |
