“There are four tiers of membership in the cbrs alliance: sponsor, full, adopter, and advisor. Sponsor members automatically receive a board seat and have all rights of membership (i.e. Vote on technical standards, participate in working groups, etc.). The full membership also has all membership rights, and gets to elect two full members to the board of directors. The adopter level members only have the right to see final work products and can request observer eligibility for work groups. The advisor members have full rights in the business work group and its task groups, but are not allowed to participate in any other groups.”
