“During 2016, a business advisory team transitioned into the project's board of directors and worked closely with pb&j to transition into its own nonprofit. - 12 formerly incarcerated parents are employed as lead staff and supervisors. - create a pipeline for a minimum of 50 fathers returning home from prison and jail to recieve nacessary soft skills and training to ensure successfull employement and reenty back to their home and comunity. - 24 of the targeted 50 have been enrolled. Of the 24: 4 graduated into permanent employement, 5 have been promoted and hired permanently with fathers building futures, 12 are still enroled as participants in the program, 4 recidivted for violations of their probation/parole. - board of directors has been established, an ein number received and fbf's 501c-3 application is complete.”
