Mission and Program Overview

Mission

WRF envisions a world where veterans and rehabilitated horses realize a productive future. Veterans & first responders attend natural horsemanship retreats, proven to reduce PTSD symptoms. WRF rescues, rehabilitates, and adopts out troubled horses. Natural horsemanship techniques are used and the program validates the retraining through involvement of the horses in retreats, mini-retreats & carriage driving sessions.
