THE PROCESS TO REVIEW COMPENSATION OF ORGANIZATION'S EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM TOOK PLACE IN 2023.”

“LINE 8 - PRIOR PERIOD ADJUSTMENT - $600,000During 2024, management became aware of an error in the Organization's previously issued financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, resulting in an understatement of revenue, receivables, and net assets with donor restrictions of $600,000.During 2023, recognition of revenue on a multi-year unconditional pledge was delayed due to improper identification as a single-year grant. Based on review of donor correspondence, it was later determined to be a multi-year unconditional pledge; as a result, an adjustment was recorded in 2024 to decrease revenue by $600,000 and increase beginning net assets with donor restrictions by $600,000. During the year ended December 31, 2024, the donor restriction on this grant was released in the accompanying statements of activities and change in net assets, as all funds were received without further restriction on use. The 2023 contributions have been updated to reflect the prior period adjustment.”
