We presented at 16 primarily black churches in Jefferson City, Columbia and Marshall, reaching 600 people in the seat plus 5 of the churches offered online services. We visited 2 women's shelter, one in Jefferson City and one in Columbia. We provided multiple toiletries gift wrapped for each lady. The bags for each person (529) contained written dietary and other written information for diabetes, toiletries, socks, neck pillows and backpacks. We provided an online webinar with 3 professional speakers, a nephrologist, dietitian, and a kidney transplant recipient. We had approximately 50 participants on line. We did tabling at a number of locations, providing chronic kidney disease information. We received a $5,801 grant from Baxter. With a $1,000 grant from the Columbia Kiwanis, we provided oral hygiene education and tools for youth at a low to moderate income subsidized after school program of approximately 18 youth of varying ages. We held 4 sessions and each session we provided a healthy snack and oral education. At the last session we provided a program for parents, food and oral equipment for the children to have at home.$6,801$9,843
