“Our core mission has been to rescue victims of modern slavery - women and children sold into commercial sex work. Working with local enforcement, we rescued them directly from the red light districts and brought them into our program. At our safe houses, rescued victims were provided 24/7 care, therapy and rehabilitation. Our beneficiaries were given life skills and employment skills, and job placement was facilitated through our network of socially responsible businesses. In 2018, youcanfreeus operated three safe houses and two training centers in mumbai, india. Warsaw, poland was a strategic intervention hub for youcanfreeus working with victims of modern slavery from eastern europe. Our work in poland also included "libertas in prisons" which is an initiative to make the prison population aware of the problem of modern slavery, and mentor them so they can reenter society in a safe and responsible way. In 2018, over 3,000 victims of human trafficking benefited from our work, of which 48 participated in rehabilitation. In conjunction with libertas, we worked in 25 prisons in poland.”

WORKING WITH LOCAL ENFORCEMENT, WE RESCUED THEM DIRECTLY FROM THE RED LIGHT DISTRICTS AND BROUGHT THEM INTO OUR PROGRAM. AT OUR SAFE HOUSES, RESCUED VICTIMS WERE PROVIDED 24/7 CARE, THERAPY AND REHABILITATION. OUR BENEFICIARIES WERE GIVEN LIFE SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT SKILLS, AND JOB PLACEMENT WAS FACILITATED THROUGH OUR NETWORK OF SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESSES. IN 2018, YOUCANFREEUS OPERATED THREE SAFE HOUSES AND TWO TRAINING CENTERS IN MUMBAI, INDIA. WARSAW, POLAND WAS A STRATEGIC INTERVENTION HUB FOR YOUCANFREEUS WORKING WITH VICTIMS OF MODERN SLAVERY FROM EASTERN EUROPE. OUR WORK IN POLAND ALSO INCLUDED "LIBERTAS IN PRISONS" WHICH IS AN INITIATIVE TO MAKE THE PRISON POPULATION AWARE OF THE PROBLEM OF MODERN SLAVERY, AND MENTOR THEM SO THEY CAN REENTER SOCIETY IN A SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE WAY. IN 2018, OVER 3,000 VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING BENEFITED FROM OUR WORK, OF WHICH 48 PARTICIPATED IN REHABILITATION. IN CONJUNCTION WITH LIBERTAS, WE WORKED IN 25 PRISONS IN POLAND.
