1.ozarks environmental services (the "organization") received irs status as a supporting organization for the upper white river basin foundation (the "foundation"). The foundation is a 501(c)3 watershed conservation organization, dedicated to protecting water quality in the upper white river watershed of southwest missouri and northwest arkansas. The foundation engages in many different activities to help protect the upper white river watershed's waterways and water sources from excessive pollution and degradation, including educating the public about new technologies and practices for decentralized wastewater treatment. The organization was formed by the foundation specifically to address the issue of there being a lack of qualified technicians to perform the necessary maintenance work on the advanced wastewater treatment systems. The organization supports and furthers the foundation's tax-exempt purpose of protecting the water quality of the upper white river watershed by performing maintenance work on advanced wastewater treatment systems and drinking water systems in communities not served by traditional municipal systems.
