“The mission of the jake offutt foundation is to provide funding for the cure of pediatric cancer, as well as, provide support to individuals for academic and athletic related opportunities. The support we provide will allow jake's love of martial arts, education and helping others to spread throughout the community to others so that they may learn to "embrace the warrior within". Our vision is that we live jake's dream for him by giving back to those who have helped him. We hope to spread jake's love of martial arts with others. The jake offutt foundation will provide scholarships to as many individuals as possible so that jake can spread his love of martial arts at tristar. Helping others was important to jake as he embraced his warrior spirit. The jake offutt foundation strives to help others in variety of ways. One of those ways is raising money for pediatric cancer research. We want to help fight this horrible disease that is so grossly underfunded. Supporting children and adults through scholarships to participate in martial arts classes at tristar martial arts is another area of importance. This support will allow individuals to take part in classes that will provide a positive, supportive and structured martial arts environment. Tristar helps to build self-discipline, self-confidence, respect, character, self-control, and more. Students at tristar martial arts embody the true warrior spirit and embrace the warrior within. Supporting jake's high school football team by providing them with athletic equipment the team needs is something we also feel strongly about. Supporting students and education is important. One way the jake offutt foundation plans to do that is to give back to jake's former elementary and middle school. He attended st. Johns school for 9 years and developed a close relationship with the teacher's. The school is always in need of repairs or supplies. We plan to help provide some funds for the school to make necessary updates. We believe that by helping others in the ways above, the jake offutt foundation will be able to help community members "embrace the warrior within".”

We awarded 4 martial arts scholarships, provided winters mill high school with much needed athletic equipment costing 4,000, and provided st. John's catholic school playground fund with 6,000 to be used for building repairs, playground equipment, or class supplies.”
