Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Elder orphan care exists to provide assistance to older adults in need. We partner with viorel and florica pasca and mircea and dana badea in romania to help raise awareness and funds to assist in providing shelter, nutrition, medical care and god's love to hundreds of elderly and frail, who would otherwise be homeless. In cabarrus and rowan counties of north carolina, we partner with other senior serving organizations to help alleviate isolation among older adults; provide purposeful activities; help older adults in need to age safely in place and provide assistance and programs that are both practical and encouraging.

The organization has adopted asc 740-10 as it relates to uncertain tax positions for the year ended december 31, 2023 and evaluated its tax positions for all open tax years. However, the organization is not currently under audit nor has the organization been contacted by the internal revenue service. Based on the evaluation of the organization's tax positions, management believes all positions taken would be upheld under an examination. Therefore, no provision for the effects of uncertain tax positions has been recorded for the year ended december 31, 2023.
