“Art education - this covers a multitude of activities as noted below: 1. Rotating gallery exhibitions including artist receptions and gallery talks that are open to the public and free. In 2017 there were 12 exhibits with approximately 1500 people in attendance. 2. Roost youth group is an activity to engage local youth in the activity of mural painting. In 2017, a group of 20 high school students painted a mural in the new paltz community center depicting the history of new paltz. 3. Swing, tango, & modern dance classed followed by open dancing that was attended by 500 participants in 2017. 4. Paint and sip guided painting classes were attended by 130 participants in 2017. 5. Tai chi was attended by 300 participants. 6. A weekly life model drawing class was attended by 400 participants.”
