Mission

Second Nurture partners with communities to recruit and retain families to foster and adopt waiting children by forming cohorts foster and adoptive parents, creating networks of support for these families utilizing both community members and local agencies, and incorporating foster and adoptive themes into community culture.

Second Nurture partners with Host Communities to provide belonging and connection for fostering, pre-adoptive and adoptive families through our monthly Cohort Meetings to address the foster care system, get direct answers to sometimes confusing processes, and find meaningful support.
