“The resale store was given birth after the outcry of the community was heard wanting this type of store back. So it was given the name born again bargains of philadelphia inc. The name not only reflects the rebirth of a store but reflects our stand with the lord jesus christ. We believe that jesus is god in human form and that he died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God incarnate is the only payment and on the third day jesus was resurrected as a guarantee that we will have eternal life after death. As we answer the calls we are witnessing our belief. The name also symbolizes the items that are unwanted or no longer needed that become born again by others who value it. And lastly, that there will be born again hope in those who are in need in times of darkness. We are locally and privately owned, a nonprofit ministry that is dedicated to the purpose and goal of serving this community to the best of our ability along with your help. Our focus is to provide something for everyone at an affordable price that allows us to help others in need whether it is with merchandise, groceries or other emergency assistance. This is your store. We are just overseers of the community's generosity. Because of god and your belief in this store, it has helped many people each year. Your donations do not leave this community, your donations stay here. We believe that charity begins at home. We believe that community is built by us all. We take no credit for this store; the glory goes to god and the generous donations of his people. So we give thanks to him and to you for this ministry and for being part of it.”
