| Events - Ignite Hope offers direct service ministry to kids in crisis and to the families and organizations that serve them. Events include training opportunities for Child Welfare Professional, families, and volunteers, such as two break-out sessions offered during the Christian Alliance for Orphans summit in 2023. Ignite Hope team members are sought after speakers for child welfare/adoption/foster panels such as FrontLine's Biblical Citizenship Academy, Cobb County DFCS, and LIV events. In the past year, Ignite Hope has been able to bless 85 school-aged children and their caregivers through a Jockey Belong grant we were awarded to put on our first Back to School Bash. We used this seed money to meet the needs for kids in crisis, pre-born through permanency, by working alongside the City of Acworth, Mayor Tommy Allegood and area churches. In 2023, Ignite Hope worked with other community organizations and churches to host a Christmas party for underserved children in Northwest Cobb and for their families. We received an in-kind donation from the Jockey Foundation of Backpacks and Bears and from Focus on the Family of 1,000 suitcases, bibles, and stuffed animals. We leveraged these gifts to connect with, bless, and solidify relationships with other ministries working in this space. We routinely collaborate with other organizations to put on events such as monthly birthday celebrations, Princess for a Day, The CAFO Summit and FrontLine's Church Ambassador's Network. In the past year we have impacted over 900 people, bringing our total to 7650 individuals in the space of child welfare over the past 9 years. | - | $28,454 |
| Conferences/Education - We spoke into draft legislation that impacts at risk children by working closely with adoption advocates, professionals, and the state department, and the Uniform Law Commission in regard to the Unregulated Child-Custody Transfer Act by giving expert testimony to the Georgia General Assembly. The legislation has the potential to impact approximately 4 million at-risk children nationally. This year, Ignite Hope has been privileged to speak to Governor Kemp's support staff, to the Georgia General Assembly's Subcommitte on Foster Care and Adoption and to several others in child welfare regarding the implementation of a Foster Youth Bill of Rights that we will continue shopping to legislators for championing and working towards approval in the GA assembly. We participated in the International Child Welfare Summit when our CEO, Jacqui Jackson, was invited to speak as an expert on the advocacy panel in Nashville. | - | $18,021 |
| Discipleship/Hannah's Hope-Developed digital resources for encouragement of families who care for at-risk children, including digital teaching segments. We have created a series of videos, educating the public on our programs and on issues faced by families who are living in the space of child welfare. We have two new books available online and in Christian bookstores. One is a children's book helping parents talk to their children about foster care and adoption. Our other devotional is an action plan and prayer resource for families who are beginning a foster or adoptive journey. We have created prayer training modules which focus on praying for at risk children and are distributed digitally. We have been blessed to contribute to YouVersion, iDisciple, Focus on the Family and Intercessors for America by writing devotionals, encouragement and articles focused on foster care, adopton, kinship care and parenting children with extra needs. These devotionals have been viewed by over 100,000 individuals. | - | $16,756 |
