The theater is organized to bring the excitement of the performing arts to the people of the northern rockies region; to enhance the quality of life in billings and surrounding areas; and to provide a facility for local performing artists.

THE THEATER ALSO CONDUCTED 32 COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND EDUCATION EVENTS REACHING INCLUDING MASTER CLASSES, LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS AND BACKSTAGE TOURS FOR GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT REACHED 2,828 INDIVIDUALS COMPRISED OF YOUNG STUDENTS, SENIOR CITIZENS, LOCAL ARTISTS AND NATIVE AMERICANS. EIGHTY NINE TEACHERS ATTENDED 6 SEPARATE EDUCATOR WORKSHOPS TO INTEGRATE THE ARTS INTO THE TEACHING CURRICULUM AND ENHANCE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT. ALBERTA BAIR THEATER'S ACCESS TO THE ARTS PROGRAM COLLABORATED WITH 60 SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES TO PROVIDE 1,152 FREE TICKETS TO THEIR CLIENTS WHO STRUGGLE WITH PHYSICAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CHALLENGES. |
