And 3,797.71 in direct supportive services and intensive case management targeted towards completion of education and involvement community service activities. Ten youth graduated, obtained their ged or entered post secondary schooling.

Insulating; door, window and furnace repair and replacement. An estimated 221 eligible homes were assisted or 573 people.

Emergency food and housing -- this service group provides housing, food and other emergency services to eligible recipients. Transitional living services helped homeless pregnant and/or parenting youth ages 18-21 in a safe living environment. Housing services consist of counseling, emergency payments, and housing placement services to assist low income and homeless populations. Approximately 91 households completed 'certified homebuyer education', 52 individuals received homebuyer pre-purchase counseling, and 16 individuals received rental counseling. Housing programs aided 164 households (371 individuals) in receiving section 8 housing valued at 735,304. Approximately 70,193.745 was provided to 112 households in the form of housing payments and supportive services to assist clients in maintaining or moving into permanent housing. Eight individuals received deposit assistance totaling 17,293.00. Harmony house served 10 pregnant and parenting youth. The participants received 694.32 in direct supportive services. Food assistance is provided through the distribution of food to eligible families living on the crow indian reservation. Monthly, food commodities were distributed to approximately 449 individuals or 195 crow tribe families for a total annual value of 191,819. Community development -- this program provides a wide range of services to the agency's five county area communities and eligible participants. Most services in this group are provided through the community service block grant (csbg), which directly or indirectly supports all programs and services the agency provides through education, low income and crisis advocacy, coordination, and the promotion of self sufficiency. Other programs consist of: 1) wheels to work, 2) individual development accounts (ida) for low income participants to learn financial literacy skills and save for eligible asset goals such as first time home purchases, secondary education, and business capitalization, 3) general relief program for providing rents and basic needs for disabled individuals unable to work, 4) yellowstone county burial program for the indigent population, and 5) volunteer income tax assistance (vita) program providing low to moderate income participants free tax assistance to file income tax returns. Fifty-nine individuals received assistance for vehichle repairs totallying 23,931.35. Two hundred eighty-four bus passes and gas vouchers were given out toaling 6,260. Nine households (20 clients) received car insurance totaling 1,006 a total of 61 'family saving for tomorrow' participants enrolled and completed 1,023 hours of financial education during the fiscal year. This year, 31 participants saved 7,093.00 and accumulated 28,373 in match. A total of 10 participants completed the savings program and purchased their asset. Twenty-five individuals received rent, basic needs assistance, and supportive services totaling 51,615.33. Financial assistance totaling 73,143 was provided for 53 burials. The vita site prepared 1,956 total tax returns saving the clients approximately 440,100 in preparation fees. The clients received 2,865,377 in refunds and certified volunteers donated 2,047 hours during the tax season.

APPROXIMATELY 223,469.98 IN WAGES WAS PROVIDED TO 127 YOUTH ENGAGING IN EMPLOYMENT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES. IN ADDITION TO WORK PLACE ASSISTANCE, AND 3,797.71 IN DIRECT SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT TARGETED TOWARDS COMPLETION OF EDUCATION AND INVOLVEMENT COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES. MOST SERVICES IN THIS GROUP ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE COMMUNITY SERVICE BLOCK GRANT (CSBG), WHICH DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY SUPPORTS ALL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THE AGENCY PROVIDES THROUGH EDUCATION, LOW INCOME AND CRISIS ADVOCACY, COORDINATION, AND THE PROMOTION OF SELF SUFFICIENCY. OTHER PROGRAMS CONSIST OF: 1) WHEELS TO WORK, 2) INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTS (IDA) FOR LOW INCOME PARTICIPANTS TO LEARN FINANCIAL LITERACY SKILLS AND SAVE FOR ELIGIBLE ASSET GOALS SUCH AS FIRST TIME HOME PURCHASES, SECONDARY EDUCATION, AND BUSINESS CAPITALIZATION, 3) GENERAL RELIEF PROGRAM FOR PROVIDING RENTS AND BASIC NEEDS FOR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS UNABLE TO WORK, 4) YELLOWSTONE COUNTY BURIAL PROGRAM FOR THE INDIGENT POPULATION, AND 5) VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) PROGRAM PROVIDING LOW TO MODERATE INCOME PARTICIPANTS FREE TAX ASSISTANCE TO FILE INCOME TAX RETURNS. FIFTY-NINE INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED ASSISTANCE FOR VEHICHLE REPAIRS TOTALLYING 23,931.35. TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR BUS PASSES AND GAS VOUCHERS WERE GIVEN OUT TOALING 6,260. NINE HOUSEHOLDS (20 CLIENTS) RECEIVED CAR INSURANCE TOTALING 1,006 A TOTAL OF 61 'FAMILY SAVING FOR TOMORROW' PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED AND COMPLETED 1,023 HOURS OF FINANCIAL EDUCATION DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. THIS YEAR, 31 PARTICIPANTS SAVED 7,093.00 AND ACCUMULATED 28,373 IN MATCH. A TOTAL OF 10 PARTICIPANTS COMPLETED THE SAVINGS PROGRAM AND PURCHASED THEIR ASSET. TWENTY-FIVE INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED RENT, BASIC NEEDS ASSISTANCE, AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TOTALING 51,615.33. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOTALING 73,143 WAS PROVIDED FOR 53 BURIALS. THE VITA SITE PREPARED 1,956 TOTAL TAX RETURNS SAVING THE CLIENTS APPROXIMATELY 440,100 IN PREPARATION FEES. THE CLIENTS RECEIVED 2,865,377 IN REFUNDS AND CERTIFIED VOLUNTEERS DONATED 2,047 HOURS DURING THE TAX SEASON.
