Program Service Accomplishments (Part III),line 28

| Explanation:| We are presently making a impact in the community according to local and national needs assessments. However our funding of the program has not been complete. Team members as so dedicated they have volunteer for many many hours this year to make sure we deliver high quality programing. In 2025 NewYoungFathers.coms flagship program Young Fathers Work Hard: Strategies for Success demonstrated measurable impact in stabilizing the lives of teen and young fathers and strengthening families in Michigan. The program served over 100 young fathers annually primarily under the age of 25 with a focus on those residing in under-resourced communities. The program delivered a structured multi-week curriculum centered on three core pillars: parenting development personal growth and career advancement. Participants received targeted instruction in financial literacy workforce readiness and responsible fatherhood while also gaining tools to navigate complex systems such as child support and employment pathways. This comprehensive approach directly addressed key social determinants of health identified in the Kent County Community Health Needs Assessment including economic stability housing security access to healthcare and mental health. Program outcomes in 2025 reflect strong participant engagement and effectiveness. Eighty-one percent 81% of participants reported that the Young Fathers Code provided a positive standard for fatherhood reinforcing accountability and long-term personal development. Ninety-one percent 91% of participants indicated they gained practical skills they could immediately apply to improve their lives including budgeting employment readiness and decision-making. Additionally 91% reported increased confidence in navigating the child support system a critical factor in reducing legal and financial stressors. The program also yielded significant gains in parenting capacity with 80% of participants reporting improved parenting skills and knowledge. Notably 87.5% of participants identified a need for continued support in parenting career development and housing stability underscoring both the programs relevance and the ongoing demand for these services. By combining culturally relevant engagement strategies with practical life skills training NewYoungFathers.com has created a results-driven model that empowers young fathers to become consistent providers responsible parents and active community members. These outcomes contribute to stronger family units reduced economic hardship and improved community well-being.
