Sponsor members are allowed to appoint any person to be their representative director on the board. Sponsor directors are not subject to retirement or rotation from the board. Full members may also join the board, but only if they are elected. Each industry category must have at least one elected director to represent that category. Each sponsor and full member may nominate a director in their respective categories. Voting members cast a sin gel vote for each category which has a vacant position. The nominee with the highest number of votes is then appointed as an elected director.”
