Mission

Working Partnerships USA is a community organization bringing together the power of grassroots organizing and public policy innovation to drive the movement for a just economy. We build the capacity of workers, low-income neighborhoods and communities of color to lead and govern. Based in Silicon Valley, we tackle the root causes of inequality and poverty by leading collaborative campaigns for quality jobs, healthy communities and equitable growth.

To provide research, education and create programs for working people in the Silicon Valley.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 11B: Form 990 Review Process

“The form 990 is prepared by an outside accounting firm and sent to the Director of Finance & Administration. The Director of Finance & Administration reviews the form for accuracy, comparing it to the audited financial statements and other internal documents to ensure accuracy. Once reviewed by the Director of Finance & Administration, the 990 is forwarded to the Executive Director and Board of Directors for review. Once the Board reviews and approves the 990, the form is filed.”

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12C: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts

“Employees of the organization are required to sign a conflict of interest policy upon hire. The conflict of interest policy is also noted in the employee handbook, which is given to every employee upon hire and redistributed to all employees from time to time. The Board of Directors is required annually to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and sign the conflict of interest policy.”
