“1. To encourage the practice of law in the field of criminal prosecution as a profession; 2. To promote and advance professional competency in the practice of criminal prosecution; 3. To promote ethical principles and practices for prosecutors; 4. To advance the interests of prosecuting attorneys employed by the office of the district attorney of kern county and promote their economic well- being; 5. To represent prosecuting attorneys who are employed by the county of kern in the office of the district attorney in their employment relations with the county of kern; and 6. To promote the full communication and improve relations between the county of kern and the prosecuting attorneys employed in the office of the district attorney of kern county.”

“The association provided support and sponsors training sessions in support of its members. It also contributed to its political action committee and kept members abreast of legislation and court decision affecting their profession.”
