The board also took into consideration the following: relationship of the ed's compensation to the compensation of other employees, the complexity of the organization and its size, the job duties of the ed, the individuals salary history, and the value of the service capacity of the ed to the organization.”

“San jose aspires, a college and career preparation and micro-scholarship program for high school students who were english language learners and would become first-generation college students, was transferred to another san jose community based organization that focuses on youth development. The san jose public library foundation is proud to have collaborated with the library and the mayor's office between 2018 and 2024 to conceive, pilot, scale, and provide proof of concept for this innovative program that served 2,129 high school students who claimed 7,983 scholarship awards totaling 661,925. Under new leadership, the program will continue its mission to reduce barriers to higher education.”
