Texas Medical Center Orchestra (TMCO) has a fourfold mission: 1. To serve a broad section of the Houston area population by performing affordable concerts with popular programming at accessible venues 2. Use educational programs to inspire and encourage local students to perform preconcert performances and be involved in music throughout their lives 3. To perform at hospitals, senior care facilities, and local performance venues, and bring attention and support to educational- and medical-related charities 4.
